Crafted at Fortnum & Mason

Walpole are celebrating London Craft Week with a special exhibition at Fortnum & Mason, showcasing work from some of Britain's most talented craftspeople working in the luxury industry today. The Crafted exhibition will include pieces from seven brands selected for the Walpole Crafted programme, a mentorship programme designed to equip brands with the tools to build a successful luxury business.

Running from the 3rd to the 7th of May, the exhibition will be curated by ceramics designer and Trustee of the UK Craft Council, Peter Ting. The exhibition includes work from Alexandra Llewellyn, Silvia Weidenbach, Insley & Nash, Struthers London and more, based around the theme of 'Surprise and Delight.' Three of the artisans (Mark Tallowin, Theresa Nguyen and Eleanor Lakelin) will also be presenting live demonstrations of their expert craft, from handcrafted leather handbags to silversmithing, providing the chance to observe their creative processes up close. A number of limited a edition pieces from each designer will also be available for purchase, alongside pieces from Walpole member Ettinger and Walpole Brand of Tomorrow 2015, Marwood.
