Following the overwhelming success of the Press Day in May 2012, Walpole is delighted to announce that the 2013 British Luxury Press Day & Showcase will take place at Somerset House, London, on Wednesday 19th June 2013.

Taking place on Tuesday 21st May 2013 at 195 Piccadilly, London, the 2013 Walpole Luxury Summit, sponsored by Barclays, will once again concentrate on Eastern Growth, with a particular focus on China, Asia and the Middle East.

Discover the transformation of raw, precious materials to valuable, handmade items in the artisans’ workshops, which have been carefully recreated in Somerset House’s West Wing. Witness live demonstrations and meet the makers in this unique and inspiring celebration of the time-honoured skills at the heart of all luxury goods.

Bringing together key senior marketing and communication professionals in the UK luxury industry, the dinner will feature a key note speech from Stephen Woodford and Beth Bentley from adam&eveDDB in the sumptuous surrounds of The Dorchester.

We were joined by senior figures from the luxury industry for our first PR Breakfast of the year, held at Linley on Friday 1st March.

The Walpole PR Breakfasts provide a forum for small groups of Walpole members and journalists to discuss issues facing British luxury.

The Walpole Awards for Excellence, in association with Coutts is a highlight of the industry calendar and will take place at The Banqueting House.

We are delighted to announce that the Walpole Medals of Excellence and launch party for the Creativity is Great Week, in association with Jaguar Land Rover, will take place on Tuesday 6th November 2012 at the British Consulate-General in Hong Kong.
