Creative Industries Federation
The Creative Industries Federation is the national membership organisation bringing together all of the UK’s arts, creative industries and cultural education to speak with extra clout.
The Federation was the brainchild of designer and philanthropist Sir John Sorrell and a heavyweight team of creative leaders including Sir Nicholas Serota of Tate, Sir Peter Bazalgette from ACE, Tim Davie of BBC Worldwide and Caroline Rush of the British Fashion Council.
The Federation provides an authoritative and united voice for the fastest-growing sector of the UK economy, calling for the infrastructure and investment – both public and private – needed to ensure future growth and success in the face of fierce international competition. The Federation is independent of the Government and funded by members, offering a unique network reflecting the crossover of ideas and talent across the sector, all contributing to the UK’s reputation as a global cultural powerhouse.
