This year, Harrods launched a new one-stop travel destination, bringing together an unrivalled edit of the finest luggage brands, world-class personalisation services, and select travel partners including Abercrombie and Kent and Qatar Airways.

The department is open on Lower Ground Floor, and showcases brands exclusively available at Harrods, including TecknoMonster and Serapian, as well as exclusive capsule collections and ranges from Globe-Trotter, Briggs & Riley, Tumi, Bric’s, Samsonite and more.

Spanning 11,000 sq ft, the series of rooms evokes a sense of story-telling and adventure. The design of the luggage department takes customers on visionary journey of their own, allowing them to be fully immersed in a retail travel experience. The department showcases exceptional tailor made services, each distinct to the brand, with options ranging from personalisation to fully bespoke creations. Tumi  ‘Embossing Bar’, and TecknoMonster offer customers the opportunity to create a bespoke trolley; personalising all elements including the stitching, handles, front panels, and even a personalised plaque. The department also offers personalised luggage tags with a custom-made information card.

British brand Globe-Trotter celebrates the rooms’ spirit of individuality by introducing its bespoke suitcase service. Celebrating each client’s personality through creativity, the service includes an array of options, from metal finishes to inside stitching and the inclusion of a loved one’s initials.

Globe-Trotter presents the finest edit of its range, and introduces a collaboration with the world-renowned fashion designer Paul Smith, which sees the creation of a quintessentially British design: a classic trolley case with trademark Paul Smith colours and stripes, a limited edition launched exclusively by Harrods. In addition to TecknoMonster’s bespoke service, the brand’s wider collection is housed exclusively at Harrods in the UK. A new-generation, cutting-edge lifestyle brand, TecknoMonster specialises in travel innovation. The brand encases its styles in elegant carbon-fibre shells, crafted from polished titanium or super-soft leather.

Positioned in the heart of the space, in a worldwide exclusive to Harrods, sits the TecknoMonster Sinossi Front Pocket cabin bag, £7,500.The new department also hosts the largest Tumi shop-in-shop in the world, presenting an extensive range of cases in traditional and vibrant colours, including the UK-exclusive 19-degree aluminium case, with a unique ‘Fall Foliage’ Harrods colour.
