London Cocktail Week | Wild Strawberry Ramos at Corinthia Hotel

It’s day two of London Cocktail Week, and we have peered inside Corinthia Hotel’s drinks cabinet to discover what they are mixing up for the capital’s annual celebration of mixology.

Corinthia Hotel London has partnered with duo Sager + Wilde, who are not just experts, but geeks of all things wine & cocktail-related. With a new award-winning Bar Director, Marcis Dzelzainis – recognised as a thought leader within the world of cocktails –  Bassoon Bar offers a new menu that is a liquid representation of a boundary-pushing cocktail culture. Inspired by New Orleans classics reimagined using modern techniques, along with a new funk and soul driven music programme spearheaded by Simon Eltringham of The Sonic Emporium, Bassoon is the place to be.

Below is a recipe for one of the Bassoon Bar’s most requested cocktails:

Wild Strawberry Ramos

Glassware:
Hi-Ball

Ingredients:
40ml Ford’s Gin
15ml Lemon juice
15ml Lime juice
40ml Wild Strawberry Syrup
25ml Cream
25ml Egg White
Top soda

Garnish:
Dehydrated strawberry powder

Method:
Combine all ingredients except soda in shaker and shake hard over cubed ice. Strain into hi-ball (no ice) top with soda and garnish. Enjoy!
