With Brexit negotiations resumed following the summer break (and making headlines for perhaps the wrong reasons), Walpole's key priority is ensuring the continued harmonious and close relationships with our European counterparts. This is mainly facilitated through our membership of the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance, an organisation which represents over 400 of Europe's best-known - and up-and-coming - luxury brands.
Based on art, culture and creativity, the ECCIA's work is underpinned by continuous innovation, a relentless focus on quality, highly skilled employment and strong exports abroad, qualities that were highlighted at the Berlin European Excellence Summit in June; an event attended by a delegation of senior executives from within the Walpole membership.
We are now delighted to welcome a return delegation from our sister organisation in Germany, Meisterkreis, who will visit London on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th October. This delegation will include CEOs and entrepreneurs from within the Meisterkreis membership, all of whom will join us for our CEO & Creative Directors' dinner with speaker Tristram Hunt at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour on the 3rd, following by meetings and tours with Harrods and Yoox-Net-a-Porter on the 4th.
