The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea will, of course, be celebrating the Royal Wedding in style, as Saturday 19th May will see festivities at Duke of York Square including live music, bunting, fine food market and the opening of the running track opposite the Saatchi Gallery for picnics.
The following week will see the celebrations continue with a ‘Summer of Love’ theme for this year’s Chelsea in Bloom from 21st to 26th May.
Chelsea in Bloom
The world-class floral festival is back - this year with over 60 shops, restaurants and hotels creating incredible floral installations which extend the Chelsea Flower Show out into the local neighbourhood.
This year’s theme is ‘Summer of Love’, inspired by the Royal Wedding – expect stunning celebratory floral tributes across the area, including major installations from a ‘wedding breakfast’ pop-up on Sloane Square (and an opportunity to support Prince Harry’s official charity Sentebale), to a giant floral wedding ring on Pavilion Road. Post your congratulations to the couple in the giant floral love heart on Duke of York Square and we will deliver them to the Palace.
Pick up your free guide or book a complimentary rickshaw tour from the central Info Point on Sloane Square throughout the week. Alternatively, please click here to read this year's Chelsea in Bloom guide online. Full details can be found on www.chelseainbloom.co.uk – including the opportunity to vote for your favourite display.

The event is organised by Cadogan, in collaboration with the RHS.
