A Summer of Luxury Holiday with... Fiona Barratt-Campbell

What is your favourite holiday destination? Is there a greater experience in life than sailing between the gorgeous Greek Isles?

What is your top tip for surviving the summer heat in style? Surviving without sacrificing my style. I wear loose-fitting items in natural fabrics and always carry with me a traditional hand fan.

Have you ever had a ‘lightbulb’ moment related to your business or career while taking some downtime?

During a safari trip in South Africa I was inspired by the dried and fissured earth of the desert, a result of the sparse rain water evaporating under the power of the African sun. This resulted in the creation of one of my most favourite finishes, ‘Cracked Earth’, which was formed for my luxury furniture brand FBC London.

What is your holiday read this year? Reading with three children under 10 is tough. Therefore I always take a sketchbook on holidays and usually the first blank pages are used for some preliminary notes or drawings; a quick record of whatever I think may be useful for further study on my return and to develop with my team. Inspirational moments come without warning and for me they manifest themselves in a visual form.
Fiona Barratt Interiors new website

August may be the Official Month of Summer (despite the current rain), but it also marks the launch of Fiona Barratt Interiors new website, focusing on its award-winning luxury interior design service and studio. Fionabarrattinteriors.com has been fully optimised to reflect the changing needs of its discerning clients with an elegant new design and sophiscated content discovery with easier access to projects and a journal depicting key moments in founder Fiona Barratt-Campbell’s life and design ethos.

The website uses image galleries of stunning photography to showcase just a selection of the residential, commercial and hospitality developments Fiona Barra Interiors are involved with.

The website is also filled with a sense of serendipitous discovery: everyday stories, design things to love and personal recommendations, each curated by Fiona herself in collaboration with the inhouse content team.

“Clients come to us for an unsurpassed service; to be inspired, to view our beautiful imagery, to find recommendations they can trust, and to discover exceptional experiences and gorgeous things. Our new website will deliver engaging content that shares the core values of Fiona Barra Interiors, and, most importantly, users will have a great experience whatever device they are on.”
