Vogue reports that the British Fashion Council has announced that London Fashion Week will have a new central location for its September showcase: Brewer Street car park in Soho. Previously based in "the tents", as they are known, in the courtyard of Somerset House, the BFC hopes that the move will "increase its footprint across the capital".

APPLE: REDEFINING LUXURY?
With the launch of the Apple Watch last week, The Telegraph's Bill Prince looks at whether it will take the brand into the realms of luxury. "The Apple Store has been re-conceived in line with a museum exhibit, its latest quarry trapped beneath glass in large, horizontally-inclined viewing cabinets" says Prince.

Alexander Fury reports for The Guardian that "milling around at this year’s Salone del Mobile you recognised quite a few names. At least, I did. Fendi, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Versace. Rather than the monikers of furniture designers, esoteric and obscure (at least, to me), the participants were just as likely to come from the fashion sphere. It's a growing trend."
