Retaining the same spirit as its beginnings in 1873, Royal Warrant Holder Cole & Son is now the prime source for entirely authentic period wallpapers printed by original methods and is the only company in the world to make hand-made flock wallpapers in the traditional way.
Continuing its history of innovation, Cole's are using state-of-the-art techniques and materials to produce new designs for both special commissions and for their latest collections, as well as reinventing designs based on their magnificent archive of block prints, screen prints and original drawings from designers including A W Pugin, Lucienne Day and Eduardo Paolozzi. Archive designs are carefully selected, sensitively coloured and printed by Cole’s team of craftsmen to produce wallpapers which are faithful to the personality of the original document, whether a 1960s Retro or a Victorian take on a Renaissance design.
Cole’s papers can be seen in a number of locations from Buckingham Palace, the Palaces of Westminster, the White House and Brighton Pavilion to many classical and contemporary style private homes, hotels, restaurants and offices.
