About Walpole British Luxury

Walpole is a not-for-profit organisation that furthers the interests of the British luxury industry by harnessing and sharing the collective knowledge, experience and resources of the membership. Confirming its position as the voice of British luxury, Walpole leads an active programme of thought leadership, research, political engagement, initiatives and events to promote and inspire British luxury worldwide.

Walpole was founded in 1990 by top tier British companies and takes its name from the great statesmen Sir Robert Walpole (1676-1745).

With five levels of entry, membership is by invitation and recommendation from an existing member. Strict membership criteria apply.

Ben Hughes is Walpole’s Chairman and heads up the board of esteemed industry experts from a breadth of different luxury sectors.
