Global Anti - Counterfeit Summit
10th March, 2008Brussels
The Summit, hosted by the Authentics Foundation and to be opened by President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Durao Barosso, deals with the international issues of counterfeiting and aims to execute deliverables around an international awareness campaign, which will highlight issues such as 'the real cost of fakes' - child labour, organised crime and international terrorism.
The international Summit will be attended by industry leaders and businesses executives including representatives from Walpole, Comite Colbert and Altagamma such as Leonardo Ferragamo and Santa Versace who are spearheading the global fight against counterfeiting.
