From Downton Abbey to Buckingham Palace, Little Venice Cake Company has created cakes for celebrities and international royalty including Her Majesty The Queen, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Paul McCartney, Emma Thompson, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Gordon Ramsay and David Beckham.
Mich Turner founded the company in 1999 and her award-winning designs continue to be the inspiration for many. The company has worked with many prestigious London hotels and event planners and many luxury stores including Harrods and Fortnum and Mason. Their cakes have been featured heavily in the press and media including the movie Nanny McPhee.
Mich Turner is a qualified food scientist, an internationally published author with 7 titles to her name. She is a teacher, demonstrator and ambassador to carefully select companies and organisations and was announced as Harpers Bazaar and Chanel Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006. Little Venice Cake Company was included as a Walpole Brand of Tomorrow in 2009 and in 2010 Mich was recognised with an MBE for her services to the catering industry.
Mich was one of the judges on the successful ITV1 series Britain’s Best Bakery and has contributed to many TV shows including Saturday Kitchen, Royal Recipes for BBC and Kirstie’s Homemade Home and Christmas.
Little Venice Cake Company has a number of retail products produced under licence, including an exclusive collection of afternoon tea fine bone china and a series of craft kits.
The company is delighted to announce its global expansion with a NEW ATELIER opening at The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences, in Dubai autumn 2020.
