Saatchi Gallery is London’s preeminent contemporary gallery space, with minimalist and modern interiors featuring a continually changing exhibition of world-class art, making it one of the capital's most exciting immersive event spaces.
Housed within the magnificent Duke of York’s HQ on the King’s Road by Sloane Square, the gallery’s unique nature not only stems from its fascinating history, but also because the space itself is unrivalled in terms of possibilities and flexibility.
Saatchi is the only gallery in London that allows event clients to hire the space for a week, close it to the public, take down the exhibition and repaint it.
The Saatchi Gallery occupies the entire 70,000 square feet of the magnificent building in Chelsea, with all rooms available for hire for both large and more intimate events, and a capacity for up to 1,500 people. The interiors are light and well-proportioned with high ceilings; an ideal blank canvas for production and an elegant setting for events from gala dinners and product launches to award shows and drinks receptions.
Since moving to Duke of York’s Square in 2008 the gallery has hosted events for everyone from Hermès to Chanel, Rolls-Royce to the Rolling Stones. Each event is treated as a bespoke project and organisers are assigned a dedicated event manager to assist in bringing the client’s dreams to fruition.
With 13 well-proportioned gallery rooms the cultural arts hub offers an environment to view contemporary art as well as hosting events through exclusive or partial hire. Having hosted 15 of the 20 most visited museum exhibitions in London, clients want the current exhibition in situ for their event; they are encouraged to incorporate the art into their event and personally choose a specific gallery they wish to hire while also being guided based on suitability.
