How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?
At home with the family keeping it low-key and homely. Lots of bracing walks around Hadrian’s Wall and then relaxing in front of the open fire with home cooked meals. We love cooking so eat very well over the Christmas period, I love the full roast turkey lunch but also the excuse to enjoy lots of cheese, crackers and wine. This year will be particularly special as we’ve just acquired a new addition to our family; cocker-spaniel puppy, Poppy.

What gift are you hoping to receive in your stocking?
The gift of time.

What is your favourite/family Christmas tradition?
Champagne and canapés at 11am whilst listening to Christmas Carols.

Favourite festive film and song?
As a family, we love listening to Christmas songs as well as traditional carols all through December but George Michael’s ‘Last Christmas’ is my ultimate Christmas melody! Favourite film is easy, the classic ‘The Snowman’.

Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?
London when it’s all dressed up for Christmas, with festive lights on almost every street. The classic hotels are just bathed in light from tip to toe. From The Dorchester to Claridge’s and The Connaught these Christmas trees and lobbies bear the stamp innovation, creativity and Christmas spirit.

Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?
Mixing light chiffon style dresses/long skirts with chunky knits and ankle boots.

What your must-have festive gift for him or her?
For her: Candles/Scent Sticks and Solis Side and Christopher Boots Prometheus Table Lamp
For him: The Ethan Desk

Do you have any winter style advice?
One of the things I love about the festive season are the luxurious fabrics that come out to play. Layers and natural materials. There’s no better feeling that cosying up in front of the fire with a cashmere sweater or cardigan wrapped around your shoulders.

Tell us about your latest winter product launches?
Introducing FBC London’s inaugural outdoor, teak-centred Foras Collection. We’ve taken our favourite pieces from the original collection and made them to withstand the changing climes outside.

My favourite piece? A beautiful blend of natural textures, the Foras Aurora Coffee Table speaks of luxe-travel in a refined and relaxed form flaunting the tactile Cracked Earth finish. The design is elevated by a beautiful geometric base expertly crafted from the finest teak. A central addition to your al fresco arrangement, this coffee table is perfectly paired with the Foras Collection’s wealth of stand-alone and modular Vesta Sofa and inspired by the relaxed vibe of my travels and heritage.
