Brand Snapshot | Cowdray announce new partnership with Le Chameau
Cowdray Estate is delighted to announce that it has entered into a new partnership agreement with Le Chameau, the leading luxury boot brand. Both brands are aspirational as well as environmentally-aware with a mutual passion and understanding of the countryside.
Known to many as the ‘Home of British Polo’, Cowdray is a family-owned diverse rural estate set within 16,500 acres in the heart of the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. It offers a wide range of outdoor sporting pursuits including fly-fishing, clay-pigeon shooting and wildlife tours.
There are also myriad footpaths wending their way across the estate, perfect for walkers to explore wearing Le Chameau – the iconic, hand-crafted boot brand. Cowdray is working with Le Chameau to create walking maps encouraging people to explore the stunning scenery and to be invigorated by fresh, country air.
In recent years, Cowdray House, located at the heart of the estate, has been transformed into a 22-bedroom luxury events venue offering the ultimate country house experience. Guests staying at the exclusive use venue can enjoy Le Chameau’s iconic leather lined Chasseur boots.
Launching in the early Autumn, Le Chameau’s new Prestige range – the most high-end boot in the collection – will be showcased at Cowdray House. Every Le Chameau rubber boot is handcrafted by a single master bootmaker, providing the highest level of consumer consideration. Recent development has seen the introduction of the Chameau –Lite LCX® leather boot collection renowned for their incredible lightness and raising the bar in terms of technology, comfort and durability.
Cowdray CEO, Jonathan Russell said: “Cowdray is committed to managing the countryside in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. For Cowdray Estate to work with the leading boot brand is an obvious choice. Cowdray and Le Chameau complement each other: both are trusted and respected brands whose primary aim is to deliver an outstanding service to the customer.”
On the new partnership, David Robinson OBE, CEO of Le Chameau, said: “We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Cowdray, a brand that is synonymous with offering quality experiences and opportunities to enjoy the British countryside at its best.”
