Rosewood London, the 5-star hotel in the heart of Holborn, is hosting its first pop-up bar with men’s magazine GQ and Tanqueray No. TEN gin.
The pop up, which is which is located in the Rosewood’s secluded Edwardian courtyard – The Terrace – has a specially created menu, with cocktails spanning a White Negroni with grapefruit, Daisy Sour (Tanqueray No. TEN, chamomile syrup, fresh line and green chartreuse) and the GQ Manhattan (Bulleit Bourbon, Belsazar White Vermouth, orange soaked barrel aged Bourbon and vanilla bitters).
Executive Chef, Callum Franklin, is in charge of food with breakfast featuring spelt pancakes with blueberry compote and mascarpone and a Full English. The all-day bar menu offers a Wagyu burger with garlic salted fries, bacon en croute and grilled octopus with chorizo and aioli amongst others. For desert there’s a flourless chocolate fondant with orange ice cream; and glazed lemon tart, with crème fraiche, all serve al fresco.
The GQ pop up offers a relaxed lounge-style bar surrounded by the glamour of Rosewood London’s Grade II-listed building, which is complete with Belle Époque architectural features including the original carriageway entrance to the grand courtyard and a spectacular Pavonazzo marble staircase which rises over seven storeys.
