The Conran Shop unveils new concession and shopping experience in Selfridges
The Conran Shop at Selfridges expands its concession to include iconic furniture and lighting collections.
On 30th September, the brand launches a newly designed space in Selfridges Oxford Street store, becoming the largest concession within the store’s homeware department. Located on the Lower Ground Floor, The Conran Shop’s new space spans 365 m sq. offering consumers an enhanced ‘Conran shopping experience’.
With a strong focus on exclusive editions and Conran originals, The Conran Shop expands the homeware offering in Selfridges by introducing a greater collection of its distinctive design classics and future collectibles. The new space will feature an extensive edit of furniture and lighting designs, alongside textiles, decorative accessories, kitchen & dining, beauty & fashion, e-tech and ultimate gifts.
Featuring bespoke glass cabinets, blackened steel tray table fixtures and white powder coated trolley fixtures, the new Conran Shop at Selfridges is designed with a clean, modern, lab-like aesthetic, where the product takes centre stage. Vibrant pops of colours add an element of play to the space, including the brand’s signature ‘Conran blue’ statement wall.
Stephen Briars, Creative Director The Conran Shop : “We are excited to relocate and update our store design whilst expanding our existing offer to feature both furniture and lighting in a more expansive way. The introduction of furniture designs by renowned brands such as Knoll, Vitra, and Carl Hansen will complement our growing collection of exclusive designs for The Conran Shop”.
The Conran Shop first launched in Selfridges back in September 2015, when two of Britain’s most iconic retailers joined forces to create a global destination for design and discovery: The Conran Shop at Selfridges. With the launch of its newly designed concession, The Conran Shop is building on this momentum by creating an inspirational space that customers will see transform and evolve with each season.
