The FT re-launches board education programme

The Financial Times has announced that it will be re-branding its successful training programme for Non-Executive Directors to reflect a wider remit encompassing education for all existing and aspiring board members.

The FT NED Club was launched in 2009 and since then has seen thousands of senior business people complete its workshops or graduate its fully accredited Diploma programme. Earlier this year, it launched a series of Board Masterclasses to compliment its existing NED training and it will be going to market with a digital only proposition aimed at helping executives who have been recently appointed to a board or are preparing to join.

Steve Playford, Global Director of Financial Times Career Management, explained ‘We provide learning interventions for board directors no matter where they are in their career journey, from aspiring executives or non-executives to experienced board members. We also offer the choice of face to face, blended and digital courses that allow directors to complete their training in a way that is convenient and most suitable for them’.
