Walpole Collaborations | The Hari Dressed by DAKS for Belgravia in Bloom
We love it when Walpole members work together – today we look at the partnership between The Hari, a five-star boutique hotel in Belgravia, and luxury fashion brand DAKS, who are working with internationally recognised flower designer Amie Bone to create a scent-sational installation for the annual floral festival, Belgravia in Bloom.
Taking place from Tuesday 21st May until Saturday 25th May, the festival will transform the streets of Belgravia with floral installations and events. In-keeping with this year’s theme of “The Language of Flowers”, Amie Bone and her talented team will use bright summer flowers, rich textured foliage and an immersive photographic display to adorn the front of The Hari. The display will feature two mannequins wearing DAKS new season attire: a male will stand within a heart of red roses offering a female mannequin a bouquet of white flowers, symbolising love and innocence.
Incorporated within the installation will be a seat for passers-by to sit on and enjoy the colourful floral wall. A social media competition will see winners of the best picture, using the hashtag #TheHariXDAKS, be awarded with a complimentary night at The Hari and a 30% discount in the DAKS boutique on Bond Street.
On Saturday 25th May, an artist will be seen painting a floral scene on a white DAKS blazer, inspired by the wall of brightly coloured flowers. In celebration of DAKS 125th anniversary, the limited edition jacket will be placed within the luxury clothing brand’s hall of fame.
The Hari has also launched an exclusive pop-up with renowned champagne brand Moet & Chandon, available in The Garden Terrace until Sunday 30th June. Surrounded by floral decorations by Amie Bone, guests can enjoy a glass of Moet Rose Imperial with a choice of sweet or savoury tapas-style dishes.
Priced at £25 per glass, inclusive of sweet or savoury dish. Please click here for more information: The Hari and Moet & Chandon menu
The Belgravia in Bloom installation will be available at The Hari from Tuesday 21st May until Saturday 25th May.
