21 Days of Christmas Celebrate with... Arabella Preston, Co-Founder, Votary

How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?

I’ll be in rural Shropshire in the house I grew up in. My mum is the queen of Christmas with all the trimmings so it's always a very indulgent time. But actually I am most looking forward to the fact that there is no mobile signal or wifi to speak of. A digital detox feels like the ultimate luxury these days.

What gift are you hoping to receive in your stocking?

Some Felt London earrings and a Sarah Raven gift voucher.

What’s your favourite/family Christmas tradition?

A slightly tipsy game of Murder in the Dark!

Favourite festive film and song?

Film, it's a toss up between Elf and Home Alone. Song, it has to be Fairytale of New York.

Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?

Liberty beauty hall - it's the buzziest yet most civilised place to shop in central London.

Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?

Scheduling a few early nights with a hot bath before bed is key. I add Votary Antidote Night Oil and mist my bed with Pillow Spray to ensure a great night's sleep

What's your must-have festive gift? Our must-have festive gifts include Votary’s Darlings set which contains our hero products in travel size and Votary Pillow Spray which is a spritz of calm to aid sleep.

Do you have any winter beauty advice? I layer Votary Super Seed Nutrient Cream over my facial oil. It helps to create a layered barrier between your face and the world, protecting against cold or dry air and restoring comfort to your complexion. Deeply moisturising, protective and fabulous for skin recovery, its unique formula leaves your skin matte, smooth and ready to face the elements.

Tell us about Votary's most recent product launches? We recently launched some more additions to our night range including the luxurious Antidote body oil which may be used in the bath or shower, a candle which has the same wonderfully relaxing scent as our pillow spray and burns incredibly well. Our new Intense Eye Oil has already scooped an award and contains an oil soluble form of retinoid so you wake to brighter, firmer skin around the eyes.

Votary are delighted to extend Walpole Press Digest Subscribers a 20% discount. Use the code 'walpole2o' at checkout. This offer will run from Wednesday 12th December to Monday 24th December.
