All I want for Christmas is…
My children to appreciate all that they have… and new curved sofas for me to sink into with a negroni in hand.
How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?
I am French–Finnish living in London for 20 years. Our family is coming over to London this year, so we will blend some French, English and Scandinavian traditions together. Lots of time will be spent in the kitchen carefully roasting a capon and baking cinnamon spiced biscuits. But stilton will always come before pudding, the French way.
Your favourite Christmas tradition?
New traditions are welcome, like challenging your imagination with a bit of ‘elf on the shelf’ playfulness, but nothing beats singing Christmas carols to get in a festive mood
Favourite festive film or song?
I feel that we would all enjoy Christmas more if we didn’t expect it to be so damn perfect. Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?
Tea time at Annabel’s where Christmas decorations are particularly OTT, and this year we're going to the Harrods Christmas Grotto for the first time (I am the most excited of all the family).
Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?
When it all gets too much, order sushi! My most indulgent home accessories are gorgeous ebony and silver Christofle chopsticks my mother found at auction, so we can enjoy take out in style.
