Bazaar At Work celebrates International Women’s Day | Walpole Member Offer
“Courage calls to courage everywhere, and its voice cannot be denied.” A century since women first won the right to vote, the rousing words of the suffragist Millicent Fawcett seem more relevant than ever.
In celebration of her enduring legacy, join Bazaar at Work on International Women’s Day for an exclusive champagne reception and dinner. Speakers include the Turner Prize-winning artist Gillian Wearing, the artist behind Parliament Square’s Fawcett statue; the campaigner Caroline Criado Perez, whose efforts secured Jane Austen’s face on the £10 note, Detective Superintendent Tor Garnett, the co-founder of Police Now, and Bazaar’s editor-in-chief Justine Picardie.
The evening includes a champagne and canape reception and three-course dinner at the Cafe Royal, 68 Regent St, London W1B 4DY.
