The 2019 Walpole Trade Mission to New York City ended in spectacular style on Thursday 24th October, with the third annual British Luxury Showrooms at the Glasshouses in Chelsea. Walpole presented an Award for Excellence to Leonard A. Lauder, the Chairman Emeritus of The Estée Lauder Companies on day three of our Trade Mission to New York. During a celebratory lunch at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Leonard Lauder was presented with an award, designed by London jewellery house Garrard, and a tea set by Richard Brendon, in recognition of Mr. Lauder’s towering contribution to promoting the trading relationship between the UK and the US.
