Can you help the London Ambulance Service (LAS)?

Paramedics and other front line staff are playing a brave role in COVID-19 outbreak. Many are living away from family to reduce risk to their loved ones. Coupled with this, they are staying in accommodation with few homely belongings, with very little time after arduous shifts to look after themselves and even to do their personal laundry.

Can you help the London Ambulance Service (LAS)?

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) Wellbeing team would welcome any donations of the following: towels, shower gel, shaving balm, sleepwear, T shirts, socks, underwear, deodorant, hair ties & grips, nail scissors, biscuits, flasks for drinks, mugs, hand wash and detergent. When the unit return from a shift they have to thoroughly wash everything before leaving and with many laundry services closed we have an opportunity to help.

A secure, volunteer led, pack and wrap facility, free of charge courier service and bank of helpers has been set up in the last few days and is now ready to go to assemble care packages in central London.

We ask please that your donations are made privately and not shared on your social channels. Thank you for your understanding.
