The team works with over 100 community groups across London to provide free healthy meals for children and families experiencing food insecurity during the school holidays. With schools closed and no fixed date to reopen, it’s put extra pressure on families who are already struggling to feed their kids. The Mayor of London Fund are currently working with only 26 out of their 100 community hubs they usually support, due to lack of funding over this extended period of school closures.
Kitchen Social are now delivering food parcels door to door whilst supporting these community groups with all the additional items they need to make this happen.
