Tell us what you do?
My job role encompasses everything to do with the food and menus at Heathrow VIP, the ultimate way to ease the stress of travel at the UK’s busiest airport. My role begins with menu concepts and goes on to client tastings, staff training and day to day running of the operation. I also manage our partnership with award-winning chef Jason Atherton and regularly train in his restaurants to bring highlights from the Social restaurants to our clients.
What do you love most about your job?
It’s all about creativity! I love to be creative and food is a great way for me to express my creative side. From something as simple as a great sandwich to preparing the finest cut of meat, I like to take great seasonal produce and prepare it in a way that allows it to shine. Alongside this comes the pleasure of cooking for a diverse range of customers with a huge range of requests! I work with the team to take care of their needs, from a specific bottle of wine or champagne to talking through dishes in person or creating a celebration desert.
