Where will you be holidaying this year/where have you already been on holiday to – and why?
I am a passionate traveller with my trip of choice often featuring active escapades in the great outdoors, especially anything to do with riding, where I feel at my most creative. I recently went on an incredible riding expedition across the Namib Desert, we rode 20 – 60 km a day. It actually ended up inspiring one of STOW’s newest products: The Namib Leather Belt Bag. A compact travel accessory perfect for women ‘on-the-go’, The Namib Leather Belt Bag is available in a range of stylish shades, including one of STOW’s newest colourways, Montana Blue & Soft Sand, which takes inspiration from the Namib Desert’s expansive skies. Whilst I love escaping to far-flung destinations - with Cape Town being another favourite of mine – it is Salcombe, South Devon, where I have spent time in summer since I was a baby, and it holds many special memories for me.
What is your ‘must-have’ item to pack in your suitcase?
I like to keep everything as organised as possible so I’d always pack a storage solution like the STOW Compass Leather Accessories Case – this smooth leather jewellery and accessories holder is perfect for storing earrings, necklaces, headphones, and other small items which could easily get lost or tangled if stored loose. As for hand-luggage, I’m never without one of STOW’s ever-popular Travel Tech Cases. Coveted by HRH The Duchess of Sussex, the Tech Cases are a must-have for organised travel. When our Mini First Class Tech Case, a smaller version of our firm favourite The First Class Leather Tech Case, launched earlier this year it became our quickest ever selling product. You can store all your important documents in one place – passport, travel documents, headphones and it also includes STOW’s Sleek Travel Phone Charger which has been a life-saver on more than one occasion.
Where is your favourite al fresco drinking/dining spot?
The Black Marlin, Simons Town, Cape Town.
What is your holiday read this year?
Lost Dog, Kate Spicer.
Have you ever had a ‘lightbulb’ moment related to your business or career while taking some downtime?
I’ve had no lightbulb moment as such, but I am always inspired by colours and places which are weaved into our STOW colour palettes. I constantly look at what accessories people are travelling with and how we could make life easier for them.
