Celebrating the Graduating Class of 2020 with The Hari

Elected by their peers and colleges, The Hari is delighted to be working with emergent artists from a range of London art schools, supporting their talent and hard work. The exhibition will take over The Hari’s most sought-after public spaces until February 2021 in conjunction with A Space For Art, who have curated The Hari’s areas since the opening in 2016.

Covering a range of mediums, most notable artists include Olivia Sterling, whose cartoonish paintings will showcase in White Cube’s online exhibition this year; Katrina Lalic, who focuses on the augmentation of materiality from screen to surface, transferring digital drawings into oil paintings; and Sizuo Chen, whose paintings depict surreal, feminine figures placed in abstract construction.

Andrew Coney, General Manager at The Hari comments: “We absolutely felt for these emerging talents, the lockdown prevented them from showcasing their fantastic pieces in potential career-launching degree shows and we are thrilled to be able to offer them a location to do so. Art runs throughout the DNA of The Hari, it was a natural fit and one I hope to continue for years to come.”
