Who gave you your first big break? My former manager at Thomson Reuters gave me my first break in corporate communications. I had previously been working for the UK government for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport during the 2012 Olympic Games and was seeking similarly wide-ranging work on the front-line of current affairs. Making the jump to an in-house, private sector role in the U.S required a leap of faith on the part of my former boss - and for taking that leap, and putting his faith in me, I am extremely grateful.
