WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO BE NAMED A WALPOLE 2020 POWER LIST WINNER?
I’m incredibly honoured to be recognised by Walpole, an organisation I first became involved with over 15 years ago as a founding mentor of the Brands of Tomorrow programme. Walpole’s role as an advocate for British luxury brands has never been clearer and more important that it is today – as evidenced by the leadership role Walpole is playing in lobbying the government on Covid-related decisions that significantly impact our industry.
WHY DO YOU THINK YOU WERE NAMED ON THE LIST THIS YEAR?
Charlotte Tilbury has had an exceptional year. Like all businesses, we have had to navigate the challenges presented by Covid. By reacting quickly, leveraging our digital capabilities and pivoting our business to digital channels, we have continued to deliver double-digit year-on-year growth. We are also delighted to have forged a partnership this year with third-generation, family-owned fashion and fragrance business Puig. Puig’s complementary expertise and values-driven approach will support us in achieving even more ambitious growth plans going forward.
