WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO BE NAMED A WALPOLE 2020 POWER LIST WINNER?
Accolades such as this mean even more in 2020, when we have all been challenged in ways that were unimaginable when the year started. This year has seen all of us unite against the pandemic and I’m honoured to be included in the Power List.
WHY DO YOU THINK YOU WERE NAMED ON THE LIST THIS YEAR?
If I look back at our team’s work during the past year, our commitment to both sustainability and community really stand out and I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved. Our Made to Last sustainable consumer event at London Fashion Week, the switch of production at our Somerset factory to make reusable PPE at the height of the pandemic, and the relaunch our ‘Icons’ collection including the ‘Alexa’ bag with fully sustainable updates are just some of the achievements – positive stories amongst this year’s challenges.
