How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?

This year will be a big family Christmas with my husband’s parents and the extended family in Surrey. It’s such a treat for the little ones to have their cousins around and to spend time with their grandparents. We are renovating our house at the moment so it will be nice to spend some time away from all the drilling and banging over Christmas!

What gift are you hoping to receive in your stocking?

I absolutely adore the bags from DeMellier, and have my eye on the Mini Venice in Berry. It’s a really sweet size and shape, and comes with a long strap as well as a little handle on top. There are plenty of colours but I already have a black cross-body bag so thought something slightly different would be nice!

What is your favourite/family Christmas tradition?

We’ve always enjoyed the tradition of 'Stir up Sunday' which is four Sundays ahead of Christmas and is when the Christmas pudding is made. It’s a lovely way to start the festive season and there’s always a delicious pot of mulled wine on the go. On Christmas Eve we like to ring all the traditional bells on the Christmas tree which are generations old. We also play with beautiful hand carved animals from Palestine given to our grandparents in the war. I love being able to pass down these sweet traditions to my two little boys, who absolutely love all things Christmas!

Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?

Kew Gardens is absolutely beautiful at Christmas; their light displays are incredible and the little ones love it too. They light up their fountains and last year there were delicious marshmallows you could toast on a fire.
