Lisa Grainger is a journalist, who regularly contributes to travel publications including Departures, Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveller, while working on The Times as deputy editor and travel editor of LUXX magazine. Having been features director of Elle, interiors editor of The Times and acting deputy editor of Sunday Times Style, her range is broad – she is as happy interviewing CEOs and models as she is kayaking down the white waters of the Zambezi Valley or writing trend reports about the art world. Her compilation of African myths and legends, entitled Stories Gogo Told Me, was published by Penguin, with all proceeds going to CAMFED, for the education of African girls.
