Originally from France, Mickael Perron moved to London 20 years ago to pursue a career in bartending. A previous bar manager at the notorious Annabel’s, Mickael joined The Lanesborough in 2015 and has since been at the helm of the luxury hotel’s celebrated cocktail destination, The Library Bar. One of his signature concoctions, the Gaspari Manhattan is a tribute to his grandmother, Mimi Gaspari. Not being able to attend her birthday celebrations one year, he crafted the Gaspari Manhattan; based on a Rob Roy with the addition of rosemary burned Blue Blazer-style which adds the scent of the Mediterranean. The theatricality of mixing this drink is revered by the Library Bar’s guests and features The Balvenie 12 YO The Sweet Toast of American Oak.
