On Wednesday 6th December 2023, Walpole members were invited to join Carly von Speyr, Walpole's Head of Communications for a conversation with Sasha Slater, Head of Luxury at The Telegraph, as a part of our Meet the Media event series. After breakfast canapes and coffee at The Beaumont hotel in London's Mayfair, Slater discussed the topics that intrigue her as a journalist – from the stories and craft behind British luxury products to how art and culture influences her editorial viewpoint. She also spoke about the distinctions in subject matter, tone and content between The Telegraph's two supplements, The Telegraph Magazine and Telegraph Luxury – and how this affects the stories she selects for each.
