Overlooking a quiet garden square in the heart of Mayfair, The Beaumont embodies the spirit of the grand hotels of 1920s London and New York, albeit on a more intimate scale, with its iconic chequerboard lobby floor, early and mid 20th century paintings, and gleaming antiques.
In the last two years, the hotel’s sleek Art Deco interiors have been subtly rethought and enhanced by leading designer Thierry Despont, adding new layers of comfort and luxury, whilst preserving the heart and soul of the Grade II Listed 1926 building.
The hotel's 101 rooms and suites, including Sir Antony Gormley's extraordinary room, a 3-storey high inhabitable work of public art, and the presidential Roosevelt Suite has grown to 101 as part of The Beaumont’s ongoing evolution. This has also seen the hotel’s already rich art collection expanded with many new collector’s pieces.
Social spaces include the suave Le Magritte bar; the award-winning afternoon tea lounge, The Gatsby Room; and a terrace for al-fresco dining. The idyllic Rosi, run by acclaimed chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, offers playfully recreated British classics.
There is an elegant black & white marble spa and gymnasium and, for those seeking to entertain in privacy, three splendid private entertaining spaces to accommodate celebrations for any occasion.
Since opening barely a decade ago, this privately owned and independently run five-star hotel has established an enviable reputation for its thoughtful, friendly service and its atmosphere of discreet, whispering luxury, winning many accolades along the way.
