As part of this year’s Walpole British Luxury Summit 2026, our strategic partner and Summit supporter Beyondly is hosting an interactive panel session that will explore how luxury brands can place real substance behind their narratives, with a focus on environmental, ethical, and sustainability claims. Entitled "Putting substance behind the story", the panel will feature two luxury brands that already use the organisation to help create their compliance strategies with sustainability in mind: English vineyard (and winner of British Luxury Brand of the Year at the Walpole British Luxury Awards 2025) Gusbourne, and Tradelinens, suppliers of long-lasting luxury bed, bath, and table linen to 5-star hotels across the globe.
This interactive panel is set to provide brands with a space to understand the opportunities which environmental initiatives and ethical marketing present, as well as the potential risks, and importance of embracing imperfection in sustainability. Storytelling remains a cornerstone of the luxury industry; a strategic art which is only set to gain momentum as consumer expectations continue to grow. The speakers who will be sharing their expertise in this breakout session are:
Alex Hilton, Director of Policy and Public Affairs, Beyondly
Liz Wood, Head of Sustainability & Principal Consultant, Beyondly
Charlotte Davies, Senior Consultant: Resource Efficiency and Circularity and CIWM Early Careers President, Beyondly
Jonathan White, CEO, Gusbourne
Catherine Morris, Managing Director, Tradelinens
