In a room with over 300 of the luxury world's leading voices, the attendees of the Walpole British Luxury Summit 2022 were party to a series of unique insights, trends and themes that laid out a radical new vision for our industry, both domestically and internationally, over the coming years.
With the help of expert panellists, journalists and speakers, the agenda acknowledged the challenges we face such as the current geopolitical upheavals in Europe and the post-pandemic recovery, but looked forward with optimism to the emergence of a new consumer who wants to reward themselves through exceptional experiences and investment pieces, as well as a new generation who put sustainability at the forefront of their purchasing demands.
There were also sessions on curating your brand in the metaverse, the importance of non-performative representation, what you need to know about the luxury market in China and the increasing prominence of the GCC customer.
