Huckleberry's hand-crafted home and outdoor kitchens are "a culmination of many years of hard work," explains Co-Founder Matt Podesta, who has been fascinated with making since his woodworking lessons as a schoolboy. He founded the brand alongside his wife, Claire, who brings marketing and creative expertise as a former graphic designer who continues to work as an artist.
It's a sign of success for the pair, "to think that the quality of our work is generational." Each free-standing piece of furniture is created from solid oak, built to last decades. As they create products to last, Matt and Claire contribute an exceptional legacy to the British furniture industry. "We believe in the power of British products, and we want to nurture home-grown talent."
