During a lunch in New York, wine writer and expert Matthew Jukes asked what non-alcoholic options were on offer. "There were only soft drinks available," he said, which sparked a moment of realisation for Jukes. "I wanted to create a gastronomically informed, alcohol-free alternative – one that could be paired with dishes," he explained, employing his wine expertise to create Jukes 6, the first of Jukes Cordialities creations that is based on a multitude of red wine styles.
Jukes comended the Brands of Tomorrow programme for expertise it offers both him as CEO and the members of his small but growing team of ten. Workshops on investment and finance, people and structure, and retail and distribution "aid the personal development of the team as much as that of the brand," he commented.
