Before Rosanna and Christie Wollenberg became the 'Otiumberg sisters', they worked in luxury fashion branding and PR, respectively. They founded their demi-fine jewellery brand seven years ago, motivated by a desire "to create something that's truly ours," explains Creative Director Christie, "something that reflects us and our values." All of their pieces are crafted from recycled or single mine sterling silver, gold vermeil or solid gold, focusing on the themes of intimacy, connection and self-expression.
As part of Walpole's Brands of Tomorrow programme, Rosanna and Christie attended a Branding and Intellectual Property workshop – one of 12 they will attend during their time with us – at programme partner Mischon de Reya's offices in London. "The session made us consider what we are known for as a brand, and how we define 'the Otiumberg aesthetic'," says Head of Brand, Rosanna. "The programme has given us a fantastic opportunity to take a step back from our everyday and to look at our brand with fresh eyes."
