As the company prepares to graduate from the Walpole Brands of Tomorrow 2022 mentorship programme, Luxury Promise (the UK’s first social commerce driven luxury resale platform) has launched Europe’s largest pre-owned luxury shopping destination in the heart of central London. And, last week, to celebrate this momentous occasion, the company held a suitably starry launch party in this new space.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, who inaugurated the new facility and spoke about Luxury Promise’s role as being “pivotal in rebuilding the West End through fashion tech innovation”.
Then guests moved inside to tour the new venue, including: investor & ex-CEO of Jimmy Choo, Pierre Denis; Co-Founder of Watchfinder, Lloyd Amsdon; Forbes Style & Beauty Editor, Angela Lei; British Vogue Fashion Commercial Director, Ottilie Chichester; and Tatler Style Editor, Chandler Tresgaskes. Other notable names included influencers Victoria Magrath, Amelia Lana and Ingrid Wilkinson, as well as other members of Luxury Promise's community and press representatives.
Located just off Oxford Circus at 28 Cavendish Square in Mayfair, the new store is housed in the old Royal Bank of Scotland building. This facility is designed as the world’s first pre-owned luxury department store and is set to offer an experiential shopping journey, reflecting how Luxury Promise has undertaken its digital journey to a new global scale. As such, this space will serve many functions as the company’s global HQ, including an e-commerce operations hub, office space for the team, and live shopping studio space.
Provision has also been made for an "experiential hub", which includes a rare handbag museum featuring some of the world’s most rare and sought-after luxury goods from decades-gone-by.
Luxury Promise is now open to customers at 28 Cavendish Square, London, W1G 0DB. luxurypromise.com
