Enter the Walpole Weekend Wind-Down: a monthly playlist of tracks created by one of our members or partners that will help you transition into an end-of-week headspace.
Our September playlist has been curated by floral design studio, McQueens Flowers. What began in London's East End as a home of simple, stylish flowers has grown to define that standard for floral quality and elegance. It now shares its unique perspective on professional floristry through the McQueens International Flower Studio, with workshops in London, New York and Seoul.
This playlist has been curated by McQueens Flowers' Digital Marketing Lead, Ashleigh Moore. "We continue to enjoy the voluminous, playful textures from the likes of dahlias and hydrangeas for a little longer, yet now we begin to see those bold bursts of vivacious colours evolve into more calming, rich, autumnal tones as the days start to cool." Like the elements of its bouquets, McQueens Flowers' playlist embodies elements of summer's energy and blissfulness, while helping us settle into the new season. "Just as we love to do with our creative floral designs, we’ve experimented with some unexpected but joyful pairings to create a beautifully eclectic mix of feel-good songs," explains Moore. "We hope you enjoy it."
