Carrier adapts pre-travel concierge service for Covid-19 travel

Walpole member and luxury tour operator Carrier has been providing exclusive assistance to their clients for years, for any request, big or small. However, during these uncertain times, their expertise is even more critical to ensuring a trip runs smoothly and is as stress-free as possible.

With this in mind, they have adapted and improved their Pre-travel Concierge Service to expertly guide clients on the latest rules around the traffic light system, quarantine and vaccination/test certificates; whilst also keeping them informed of the safety measures in place during the journey and at the destination. This complimentary service saves times and alleviates anxiety, underlining the benefits of booking a holiday through a reputable tour operator.

As part of the Carrier experience, clients can expect the following services:

  •  At time of booking, clients are provided with an ‘Your Essential Covid Travel Guide’ detailing everything about the destination’s protocols, the testing/vaccination requirements for arrival and returning home, and the forms that may need to be completed.
  •  At the time a client needs to start thinking about booking Covid tests, Carrier’s concierge will be in touch to guide them along the process and advise of approved testing providers.
  • Carrier constantly monitor changes to restrictions and protocols right up to the day of departure and return home, so clients don’t have to. They will notify a client of any changes that may impact their trip, whether that be a change in the traffic light system or a potential impact on facilities in a resort. They will be on hand to assist should you require changes to be made to a trip.
  • Due to social distancing requirements and hotel protocols, Carrier’s concierge advises pre-booking of services and activities such as restaurants, kids clubs and spa treatments for the best experience in resort.  They will be in touch at the right time to ensure clients are pre-booked in advance, securing preferred dining times and desired access to facilities and of course to arrange any special requests.
