The three-days of celebrations made headlines around the world as details were revealed of the bride’s five couture Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gowns. The ceremony on Saturday was held at Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati. A reception the evening prior took place at Palazzo Colonna in the city, with an informal brunch on Sunday in the gardens of Villa Aurelia.
The wedding gown was a Victorian inspired design with clear echoes of the Tomasz Starzewski creation worn by Lady Kitty’s mother, Victoria Aitken (née Lockwood), for her wedding to Earl Spencer. The Earl was not in attendance and the bride was given away by her brothers Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp and Samuel Aitken.
“And just like that, we’re back!”
