Simon Wolf on WOLF's legacy – and why the Walpole British Luxury Awards matter

11th December 2023

At the Walpole British Luxury Awards 2023, our Visionary honour was given to the transformative CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Torsten Müller-Ötvös – and, with WOLF as sponsors of the award, the CEO of the watch and jewellery accessories craft house, Simon Wolf, was on stage to present him with the trophy.

Here, we speak to Wolf about why it was important for his company to be a part of our annual celebration of British luxury and what's on the radar for the brand in its anniversary year to come....

Walpole: Why was it important for WOLF to sponsor the Visionary award?

Simon Wolf: We want to be an active part of the Walpole community, helping to promote great British brands. Our sponsorship of the Visionary award at the Walpole British Luxury Awards 2023 was just one way for us to get involved – and we look forward to being part of more Walpole events during 2024.

Can you tell us about an exciting development with WOLF that will happen before the next Walpole British Luxury Awards in November 2024?

In 2024, we are holding our 190th Anniversary Gala at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, which is a very special venue to us. We will celebrate this incredible milestone in the company’s history with our customers, our team and invited guests, as well as unveiling the third of our five special anniversary products. I am sure it will be a night to remember for years to come.

In its advertising, WOLF speaks about protecting your legacy. What would you like your legacy to be at the company?

To make beautiful useful products that last a lifetime, that are made of sustainable materials by hand by people who care. To look after the things that matter most to people, ensuring they tell stories for generations to come.
