What does it mean to you to be named in the Walpole 2022 Power List?
It is such an honour to be named in the Walpole 2022 Power List, especially after the turbulent couple of years we have had in the Luxury industry. I’m really proud to be working at a brand which is truly committed to responsible sourcing, manufacturing and consumption, and this recognition makes me feel incredibly proud of the progress we have made at Mulberry.
What have you or your business achieved in the past year that you are most proud of?
The launch of our Made to Last Manifesto was a pivotal point for Mulberry, as we hadn’t always been brave enough to talk about our past achievements. It was a great moment to disclose the progress we’ve already made and set a pathway for the future.
What is 2022 set to look like for your business?
2022 is the year of the carbon reduction plan! We have committed to setting Science Based Targets which deliver on our Net Zero 2035 ambition, and now the hard work begins in working out our pathway. We’ll also be pushing our leather supply chains to increase their transparency and traceability and thinking about how we can translate this message to our consumers.
