Eight years ago this month, I joined Walpole. It was my first CEO role and with it came a completely new peer-group: often I found myself to be the only female CEO at the table. Fast forward to 2025, I’m delighted to say this is no longer the case. I hope the Walpole Women in Luxury programme – also eight years old this year – has helped a little to move the dial on female representation at senior level in luxury.
This year we are evolving Women in Luxury into a series of workshops led by Jo Glynn-Smith. With a background in communications, marketing and media (predominantly in the luxury and retail sectors), Jo has a unique understanding of the needs of women working in the luxury brand space and the challenges senior leaders face. In addition to her coaching practice, Jo is a regular contributor to Harper’s Bazaar and has a successful podcast, The Midlife Entrepreneur.
Hosted at The Ned (our brilliant new programme partner) in the heart of the City of London, these breakfast sessions are designed to help you find your voice, your vision and unlock your ambition as we enter a pivotal year for the luxury sector.
It’s exactly the kind of programme I’d have loved when I started at Walpole, and I hope you’ll love it too. See more information on each masterclass below. I'll look forward to seeing you there!
