Walpole: In a world where we’re always available, how do you separate your personal time from your work time?
Dino Pace: It’s very hard, but the only way I know that works is to switch off your mobile.
What’s one thing you do after the work day to help you unwind?
Listening to good music, or drinking a glass of good red wine from Italy, France or South Africa.
What activity do you do in your time away from the office that helps you relax and recentre after a stressful week?
I love jogging, especially on the weekends and around Hyde Park when I am in the London office.

What’s something you’ve read, listened to or seen in your spare time that’s helped you at work?
I'm really inspired by a quote I recently came across by Theodore Roosevelt: “We must dare to be great; and we must realise that greatness is the fruit of toil and sacrifice and high courage.”
After home and the office, where’s your favourite third space?
My mother’s house: it’s a space of good energy and serenity
On Sunday night, how do you prepare yourself for the week ahead?
I don’t have any special preparations, but I always watch the Sunday night football match on TV.
Best reason you've had to turn your Out of Office on recently?
A last-minute trip to soak up the last of the summer sun in Sicily. It’s hard to describe, but something about this island is truly special. However, even when I’m on holiday my Out of Office is never on!
Your go-to Out of Office outfit: The same as my office outfit: denim jeans with a shirt and a jacket or with a sweatshirt and T-shirt.
Your happy place anywhere in the world: Nicotera, Calabria, my homeland, and the place I belong to. I love the south of Italy in general.
Your favourite bar or restaurant: El Porteno, an Argentinian restaurant in Milano. When any number of the team is over, I book a table or the private dining room and order for us family style: pata negra, nuestra proveleta and a wonderful dish made of beetroot and potato to start, followed by a superb gran lomo. If anyone has room for desert we order mandarin or lemon sorbet and a traditional digestif, of course.
Something you booked recently that you'd recommend: A guided tour of Ayasofya in Istanbul – a city whose charm and mystery are second-to-none.
Something you've listened to or read recently that you'd recommend: Carlos Ruiz Zafón’s Las Luces De Septiembre. Absolute magic, like every book written by Zafón.
A hobby you'd like to cultivate: I’d like to travel more, and not for business! There are so many wonderful places in the world I hope to see one day.
A luxury that’s actually a necessity: An hour and half spent with my barber Umbi Fiorilla at Thy Barber on Cheshire Street in East London.
Best luxury under £25: A pair of Gallo men’s socks are a real luxury!
